A Hemophilia "Together Project"

On September 8, 2021, the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) partnered with the Hemophilia Federation of America (HFA) to publicize the creation of the “Together Project,” a newly formed push to combat mental health and other problems in the hemophilia community.

According to Hemophilia News Today, many studies have displayed a high correlation between chronic disease, and anxiety and depression. The addressing and combatting mental health problems will be the starting discussion for "Together Project" and the two organizations. Sharon Meyers, HFA President & CEO, believes that mental health in the hemophilia community has been "overlooked" for too long and is proud that discussion is beginning, and says that HFA is proud to be a part of that discussion.

The hemophilia community hopes that there will be more to come from the together project, as it essentially combines the mission of both organizations. You can sign up for updates and learn more here.
