Hemophilia is a genetically inherited disorder that is passed down through the X-Chromosome. The possibility of inheriting Hemophilia depends on multiple elements, one of which is gender. Almost all Hemophilia patients are male, yet, woman can still be carries of it. So how is Hemophilia inherited?

Circumstance 1 - Father has Hemophilia and mother is a carrier:

50% chance that son(s) will develop Hemophilia, 50% chance that daughter(s) will be carriers, and 50% chance that daughter(s) will develop Hemophilia.

Circumstance 2 - Father has Hemophilia and mother is not carrier:

50% chance that daughter(s) will be carriers BUT son(s) will not develop Hemophilia because he/they inherit the mother's normal X-Chromosome.

Circumstance 3 - Mother is a carrier:

There is a 50% chance that her son(s) will have Hemophilia and there is a 50% chance that her daughter(s) will be carriers.
