The National Hemophilia Foundation's State of the Science Research Summit starts today! From September 12th to the 15th, the NHF is convening a virtual summit to, "bring together voices from across our community to address some of the most pressing issues faced by people with these disorders, and to agree on specific and actionable activities that should be guided via a National Research Blueprint, to be published early next year," (Leonard Valentino, MD NHF President and CEO).
According to the National Hemophilia Foundation, the summit will include multiple active discussions which will feature experiences of patients of the community, address critical topics and care for women with these disorders. Sessions will also include a chance for participation by patients and caregivers. Review the interactive program here.
