Getting through this past year may be something everyone is thankful for, especially those with bleeding disorders. Bleeding disorders have incredible impacts on the lives of those who possess them, that only strengthens the person's gratitude. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I asked those effected to reflect on what they were thankful for.
I am thankful for the ease at which I can receive my own medication and my ability to live a normal life despite my bleeding disorder. I have been extremely lucky and enjoy sharing my experiences and the experiences of others to build a community on HemoTalk. With that being said, here are some other thank you notes:
Patient with Hemophilia A Severe: This person is thankful for having little to no bleeds as someone who is diagnosed severe A. He wrestles and thanks the lord that he has the ability to do more then the average person, and that he has access to the medication that allow it to be possible. He thanks his mom and dad for their efforts to make him and his brother safe throughout their childhood.

Although he has had many struggles like taking medication and changing careers, he says that he "dodged a lot of very big bullets" by being born in this time and he's very thankful for that.
